Catherine Rose
Arts Leader
Catherine Rose is a baker, arts leader, and is now debuting her first cookbook Lemonade Is A Breakfast Drink. Living in grey Seattle, Washington, she bakes for her close friends and sisters who love a freshly baked and homemade snack to add to their pantries. Schultz graduated from Seattle University with a double major in Communications & Media with a specialization in Strategic Communications and Interdisciplinary Arts with a specialization in Arts Leadership.
About
Growing up in both Olympia, Washington, and Unionville, Connecticut, her tastes are equally balanced between the Pacific Northwest and New England life. If not using her free time to bake, she often crafts or crochets with her cat by her side. Her writing centers on women, learning to rest, and finding a unique, whole, and loving life.
Her journey and passion for people have given her the opportunity to pursue a variety of positions within the past few years. She currently works at the Seattle Symphony in the Education and Community Engagement Department as the Administrative Assistant. This transformative position has emboldened her passion for arts accessibility and building relationships with several community partners. Last year, she interned with TeenTix, where she mentored teens and helped young people access arts in Seattle. Schultz continues to work with TeenTix staff and teens in her current role at the Symphony.
In the future, Catherine will continue to pursue the arts through the lens of accessibility and equity.
